This Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) phone is powered by a dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 processor. The 4.3" touchscreen with pixel dimensions of 540x960 is protected against scratches by Gorilla Glass. It comes with a 8 MP autofocus front camera with LED flash that supports 1080p HD video recording at 30fps, and a front camera for video calling. In addition to the internal 8 GB memory, it has support for up to 32 GB via microSD slot. With support for multiple media formats, there is also an HDMI port to take the action to a larger display.

The Motorola Atrix 2 supports 21.1 Mbps HSPA+ network, it also has hot spot sharing option by which one can share data with Wi-Fi enabled devices.
